Youth Climate Art Programme
Summary
Climate change is reshaping our world, bringing more extreme weather, from storms and floods to droughts and wildfires. These challenges are already affecting communities in the West Balaton region and beyond, making it more important than ever to strengthen disaster preparedness and resilience. But this isn’t just about science and policy – it’s about creativity, collaboration, and amplifying youth voices.
The DIRECTED Project , in partnership with the Helikon Youth Arts Festival, brings together climate researchers, policymakers, artists, and young people to spark new ideas and connections. Together, we’ll explore bold, creative visions for a climate-resilient future – locally in West Balaton and across Europe.
